My daddy was one of the main guys that felt it was important to have children's church on Sunday morning for the kids at our church. So way back in 2009, he made that idea come true with the help of my momma and some awesome people in our church family. Fast forward to 2019, my boyfriend, now husband, was asked to become our children's minister. He gladly accepted, and we have loved working with our sweet elementary kids for almost three years now. I took this rebrand project to heart because this program means so much to me. From a little girl doing Bible trivia in elementary, to a young adult now helping her husband lead the children in the church, I love how God has used me in this program.
The hours put into deciding a color scheme are innumerable. I wanted the colors to be modern, friendly, and playful with a simple logo that could compliment the "whole church" rebrand. Fun fact, the cross logo came about with two simple strokes with my Apple Pencil.
These are some posters I designed to hang in the three classrooms we redesigned.
The classrooms! The colors! The kids! I am still obsessed with these accent walls.
I am the graphic design, planner, media girl, and whatever else everyone needs from me (but I LOVE IT)! This is a sample calendar designed for the 2022 summer events.
