A cozy cabin Christmas adventure made by yours truly! This piece brings me so much joy to even look at. So many hours of work went into painting these houses but it was so rewarding to see the final product. A brief overview of my process: I started by researching a number of homes that felt "cozy" to me, and then I took that inspiration and made it something of my own. I uploaded each painting into Photoshop to edit and fine tune everything. I added layers of snow because it had to be as magical as the hundreds of Hallmark movies I watched while I was quarantined:)

Above all, I wanted this final project for my Photoshop class to be more than just a project that I had to complete for a grade--I wanted it to mean something. This year has been so crazy, and we've all spent more time at home than we planned. I wanted this poster to be an at-home experience that you could do with family, friends, or whoever you are lucky enough to spend time with during the holiday season. To access the 12 days of Christmas adventures, download the Artivive app, scan the print, and make some memories!
