Okay, so this makes me so happy every time I look at it. I created this typeface in my typography class in college, and let me tell you, it took FOREVER, but it was so worth it in the end. I am planning to develop it into a functioning font in the near future, so hopefully others can purchase it for their own designs. I'm sure there is a more "professional" process to create something like this, but I basically sketched out my ideas, hand painted each individual fall element, and edited and masked those paintings in Photoshop. Finally, I meticulously placed each leaf, sunflower, and pumpkin to form each letter of the alphabet. I chose a serif font because it felt fancier or something like that. Enjoy the process my friends... even when it is annoying and you really want to quit and do anything besides look at another watercolor sunflower. Oh, and don't forget to checkout my artist statement on the bottom of the poster:)
